Latest figures encapsulate soft drinks sugar reduction work

The soft drinks sector has been reducing sugar content in its products for many years – and the latest figures for the four-year period ending 29 December 2019 show that sugar consumption from soft drinks fell by 30.3% (Kantar Worldpanel).

Meanwhile, low- & no-calorie drinks accounted for 65% of all sales in the soft drinks market in 2018 (Global Data).
